Technical Consultants
Job description:
Our Technical Consultants will focus mainly on our clients taking responsibility for all technical aspects of the customer’s project: interface management, reporting and technical platform design. You will translate the client’s needs into technical specifications, implement our solutions and assure a constant follow-up and evaluation of the situation. Our headquarters are in Merelbeke but you will be working at the customer’s site abroad (Asia, US, Europe, Middle East…).
In order to become an expert and to have a full understanding of our products and solutions, you will receive an extensive in-house training. Later on you will be assigned to a project where you will work together with a project leader and other consultants.
Professional and personal skills required:
- Strong working knowledge of databases (SQL Server)
- Strong knowledge of ETL and Data Warehousing technologies along with Data Modeling best practices
- Ability to design mappings for Data Capture, Staging, Cleansing, Transforming, Loading, and Auditing
- An interest in the banking environment
- Fluency in English. All other languages are an asset
- A good team player, who is eager to learn and to work autonomously in an international environment
- Adaptable to change and feeling at ease in a quickly evolving environment
- Committed to accuracy and completeness
- Willing to travel and to work abroad
- Customer- and service-minded with good communication skills
